Glasgow Endurance Sessions return for 2017/18
As part of the winter training regime the Glasgow Endurance Sessions are due to start again, beginning on Saturday, 21st October 2015. The first session will be taking place at Bellahouston Park.
Coaches and Athletes are reminded that the Sessions are designed to bring athletes and coaches together in shared training sessions.
Information for potential athletes.
  1. Meeting/Start points will be announced seven days before each Session on the GAA Website and through our facebook and twitter pages.
  2. Sessions are designed to be completed by everyone. Once an athlete drops out, they will not be allowed to re-enter.
  3. Sessions are open to athletes aged 15 years and older.
  4. Sessions are led by experienced endurance coaches.
  5. Sessions start the first rep at 10:30am sharp. Athlete's should arrive warmed up ready to go for 10:30am.  
Should there be enough interest there will be a Junior Session at each Session designed to accommodate athletes aged 12 - 15 years oldendurance-4-504x236

Bellahouston Park (grass). Meet at Pitch & Putt field close to the sports centre

Saturday, 4th November 2017

10 min tempo, 10 x 1 min with 1 min recovery, 10 min tempo 

Pollock Park (grass, meet at the trenches excavations close to Burrell Car Park)

Saturday, 18th November 2017

Up to 8 x 4 mins reps with 2 mins redovery

Tollcross Park (grass, meet at the top of the hill)

Thursday, 28th December 2017

Up to 10 x 3 mins reps with 90s recovery
