There are just over three weeks left to enter the second GAA Sprint Gala on Wednesday 11th July, offering high quality competition for athletes to continue their season, taking place at Scotstoun Stadium 18:30 - 21:00.
We are offering events on the night of Sprint Hurdles open to all age groups, 200m open to all age groups, 400m open to all U17 athletes and above, and a Mixed 4 x 200m Relay (2 men & 2 women run in any order, U15 athletes +).
All races will run from slowest heat to the fastest.
We will also be offering three field events at the meeting: Discus, High Jump and Long Jump. Events will be limited to one pool each of 12 athletes, U15 and above. Athletes will be given 6 attempts in the Dsicus and Long Jump. Height progressions will be pre-set but are still to be confirmed.

The maximum number of athletes for the meeting will be around 200. The meeting will run from 6:30pm - 9:00pm. Entries will close on Wednesday 4th July 2018 at 5:00pm. Entries will operate on a first come first serve basis, once the event is full entries will close, so enter quick to avoid missing out. We will aim to operate a waiting list if the events fill up, please inform us if you are no longer able to compete.
This is a Scottish Athletics Licensed Event run under UKA rules.
The GAA will be offering a Prize Pot on the night for athletes running under target times (still to be set).
