We were successful in gaining first place by one and a half points over team Edinburgh, so a great start to our new season.   We now travel to  Liverpool for our second match on Saturday 26th for the match on Sunday 27th May.

A big THANK YOU to all of the athletes, coaches and clubs that attended and supported our U12's and Yuletide Open Graded this year. We received a great response in the number of athletes entered and this was reflected with some great races throughout the day.

Please find below the provisional results for Friday 22nd December 2017 U12's Competition and Yuletide Open Graded.

The GAA would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to all the great officials and volunteers that assisted in running today's meeting. They work hard and do a great job to make our even go as smoothly as possible, without their help our meetings could not go ahead.

A small but somehow still eclectic mix of personalities made the journey to Nuneaton for the 2nd match of the division 2 BAL season on 2nd June (all the 2’s… spooky). From the strong silent types to the ‘please gonnae shut up before this migraine gets any worse’ sort; and from the young up-and-comers to the, eh… more experienced athletes who have been doing this for just a bit too long, all had a common goal: to make amends for the slow start in the last round. Alas, much like many a Scottish sports team, it was to end in glorious failure. Despite a great effort (please see the GCAC Facebook page for a slightly more gushing description and an example of the problems of late night posting), we finished 6th in the match won by our new best friends, Bournemouth A.C.

Thank you to all the athletes and clubs in supporting our events, we have received a great response in entries!

Please find below information on registration, entry numbers and timetables for the U12s Competition and Yuletide Open Graded meet taking place on Friday 22nd December.
